Victor had nothing to live for.
Except the promise of a new life. Given a new body and a new existence, Victor sets forth to be the kind, decent man he once was. But his condition reverts, and he dons his suit once more, proving once and for all that Victor Fries is dead, and only Mr. Freeze remains. |  |
Parallels and Thoughts
 | Freeze is the only character so far untouched by time. Being nearly immortal, time would have very little meaning to him. He is still the tortured soul that he has always been, not that it is really his fault. Of all characters in the Batman mythos, he seems to have been dealt one of the worst hands. Even in the future, his dreams of becoming normal again are crushed, and those he trusted betray him. Is it any wonder he always turns to revenge as an answer? |  |
