Slipping from shadow to shadow, slides a living patch of darkness. Her name is Inque, and
she is a corporate spy and sabatour. Created in a mysterious genetic experiment, Inque now
sells herself to the highest bidder, using her liquid, metemorphing body to sneak into enemy
corperations and cause massive destruction.
Powers hires her to attack a competeing corperation owned by the son of Bruce Wayne's old
vice president. However, she doesn't expect an encounter with Batman.

 | It's interesting that
the first arch-villian that Terry faces is female. It's not that surprising though,
considering that the most female villans from Batman: The Animated Series are among the the
most popular characters of the show. Inque is a female equivalent of Clayface, but is both
darker and more liquid. She lives in the darkness, and can infiltrate even the the most secure
areas. Though her origin is not disclosed, it seems to have similarities to what happened to
Matt Hagen to make him Clayface, an accident at the hands of a large corperation. They share
the same weakness of water, but Inque seems to be more powerful, and a more dangerous opponent.
