The Jokerz

Most of the freakish super-villians that Bruce Wayne fought as Batman are long gone,
forgotten by the world. It is not the case with the one who was perhaps Batman's greatest
foe, the Joker. Though the Joker himself no longer threatens Gotham, his image lives on in
the form of a motercycle gang known as the Jokerz. The gang dresses in clown themed outfits
and makeup, terrorizing the citizens of Gotham City with their twisted brand of humor.
However, now Batman roams Gotham once more. He already tangled with the Jokerz, as Terry McGinnis, and won with the aid of Bruce Wayne. Do they really stand a chance against the new Batman? He's not laughing, and soon, they might not be either. |  |
Parallels and Thoughts
 | The Jokerz gang pay homage to one of Gotham's greatest villians, the Joker. However, they are a pale shadow of the dangerous lunatic that gave Batman so much trouble. Much as Batman took on the mantle of the Bat to scare the cowardly and superstitious criminals, the Jokerz leech off an image that has always been a nightmare to Gotham. In reality, they do not seem to pose much of a threat, as McGinnis and Wayne showed when the two of them took down the whole gang themselves, out of costume. However, it is still nice to see the remains of the familiar, modern day Gotham in the Gotham of tommorow. |  |
