Powers hires Inque, a shape-shifting corporate saboteur to shut down an competitor. Terry must find a way to stop a criminal who is as tangible as a shadow and lives in the darkness.

Golem

Willie Watt has been picked on one too many times. He steals a construction robot from his father to scare the bullying Nelson Nash. But when Batman tries to stop the giant robot, it becomes bonded to Willie, giving him more power then he ever dreamed of.

The Winning Edge

Terry's investigation of a classmate's criminal activity and steroid use leads to one of Bruce's strongest enemies: Bane and his super-strength inducing Venom.




Episode 06
Dead Man's Hand
First Aired: 3/20/99

Terry must deal with both his rejection by his girlfriend, Dana, and an old enemy of Bruce's, the Royal Flush Gang, who pattern themselves after playing card ranks. Things look up for Terry when he meets a girl named Melanie who seems to share his problems. But Melanie has another side as dark as Terry's.

Meltdown
First Aired: 2/13/99

Victor Fries, still trapped in icy immortality, participates in an experiment to cure him that Powers hopes can reverse his own condition. But when Fries reverts and declares vengeance, all hell breaks lose; in the form a radioactive powerhouse known only as Blight!

Heroes
First Aired: 2/20/99

The Terrific Trio, a group of scientists who become heroes after gaining powers in an experiment gone awry make their way into Gotham. But as Magma, Freon, and 2-D Man soon learn, a hero's life isn't always what it's cracked up to be.

Spellbound

A mysterious villain known as Spellbinder is using mind control to allow his victims to unwittingly commit his crimes for him. And even the Batman is not safe from his illusions.

Shriek
First Aired: 3/13/99

Bruce Wayne attempts to fight Derek Powers' attempt to tear down the historical district of Gotham. But Powers is not one to let anything stand in the way of his plans, and enlists an inventor with a powerful sound suit to silence Wayne.

A Touch of Curare
First Aired: 5/15/99

A deadly assassin is sent after D.A. Sam Young, husband of Commissioner Barbara Gordon. Batman's attempts to protect Young lead to conflicts with Gordon, and some surprising revelations about the past.




Episode 12
Disappearing Inque
First Aired: 5/8/99

Inque is freed by a lovesick worker at the cryogenics plant where she is being held. Trapped in her mutated form, she seeks to attain the chemicals that will allow her to once again regain her human shape, and get revenge on Batman and the "mysterious old man" who aids him.

Ascension (Season Finale)
First Aired: 5/22/99

As Derek Powers' Blight persona slowly destroys what was left of his normal life, he turns to his son for help. Paxton Powers seems willing to help Batman bring his father in, but unfortunately, deception and greed run in the family.

Joyride
First Aired: 10/2/99

Batman must help a military scientist recover an experimental aircraft with a fatal flaw before the Jokerz who hijacked it unwittingly destroy half of Gotham.




Episode 15
Earth Mover
First Aired: 9/25/99

A man-turned-monster uses his power over the earth to try to recover his daughter and the man he believe tried to kill him. However, the truth isn't quite what it seems to be.




Episode 16
Splicers (Season Premiere)
First Aired: 9/17/99

Gotham teens are crazy over "splicing", augmenting animal genes onto their own to change their appearance, thanks to the Chimera Institute. But the institute's sinister head, Dr. Cuvier is much more dangerous then he appears, and has the power to bring out the Bat in the Batman.

Lost Soul
First Aired: 10/9/99

Terry must fight the batsuit when it is taken over by the virtual soul of a dead communications tycoon. Without the aid of the suit, he must save the man's grandson from becoming a vehicle for his virtual brain.




Episode 18
Blood Sport
First Aired: 10/23/99

It's a case of the most dangerous game, with Batman as the prey. The Stalker, a big game hunter who was nearly killed in a hunting accident and as a result was physically enhanced, comes to Gotham, seeking what he believes is the only prey left on Earth worthy to face his skills, Batman.




Episode 19
Hidden Agenda
First Aired: 10/16/99

The brilliant leader of a faction of the Jokerz gang attempts revenge on Max Gibson, a fellow student. Terry's efforts to help her are complicated by her efforts to find out the true identity of Batman, whom she is convinced is a student at school.




Episode 20
Once Burned
First Aired: 11/6/99

The Royal Flush Gang's Ten returns on a mission to rescue her family from the Jokerz gang. When Melanie approaches Terry for help, he is forced to decide whether or not to put his relationship with Dana at risk, and if Batman can really trust Ten.




Episode 21
Hooked Up
First Aired: 11/13/99

Spellbinder returns with an addictive VR machine forcing kids to steal in order to have more time in their perfect worlds. When Max becomes addicted to the fantasy world, Batman must bring her and the others back to reality before their minds burn out.




Episode 22
Rats
First Aired: 11/20/99

Dana, who feels she has been ignored and let down by Terry once too often, begins receiving roses from a secret admirer. When she is abducted by the mystery man, a boy named Patrick who lives in the sewers because of his rat-like appearance, Batman may be the only one who can save her.

Mind Games
First Aired: 12/4/99

Terry has mysterious visions of a young girl asking him for help. His search for her leads him into confrontation with a group of people with incredible powers and dark goals known as the Brain Trust.

Revenant

Odd happenings at Terry's school lead students to believe the ghost of a popular student is haunting the Hill High. However, Terry's investigations lead to a more earthly cause: the telekinetic powers of Willie Watt.

Babel

A vengeance-seeking Shriek uses his knowledge of sound to take away Gotham's ability to communicate by disrupting speech. His price for returning things to normal? Batman's life.

Terry's Friend Dates A Robot

Howard Groote, a hopeless nerd at school, purchases an illegal android in the form of a beautiful girl to pose as his girlfriend. When his plan works and he begins flirting with other students, "Cynthia" becomes jealous, and is powerful enough to be a very dangerous threat.

Barbara Gordon seems willing to risk the revelation of her and Bruce's former identities to bring in Terry, whom she believes killed Mad Stan. But you can't always believe everything you see.

Batman becomes involved in a government search for a missing assassin robot. However, the robot appears to be the real victim in the situation, and Batman finds himself questioning whose side he is on.

The Last Resort

Terry's investigations into a new boarding school for troubled kids reveal the cruel, inhumane methods being used and the great danger that one of his friends, and soon, himself are in.

Final Cut

Terry, without the help of Bruce, must battle Curare, who is back and deadlier than ever. With a new deadly weapon and a dangerous bomb, she may be more than even Batman can handle.

In order to work himself out of debt, the father of a friend of Terry's develops a super-powered suit to aid him in what seems like his only option... a life of crime.

Sneak Peek

A slimy reporter with the ability of becoming intangible stumbles onto the biggest story of his life, the identity of the new Batman. Unable to be reasoned with, he could spell defeat for both Terry and Bruce.

Batman and Stalker form a reluctant alliance in the face of a bigger threat; a mysterious criminal known as False Face and the deadly virus he is carrying, capable of wiping out the city.
