Batman Beyond: Welcome To The Future has officially moved to it's new address at
http://www.mindeclipse.com/batmanbeyond/. I know many fans
will miss the old batmanbeyond.net, but I felt it would be more practical to have a
domain name I can put all my sites under. Be sure to check out
the other sites I have under this domain name.
Reason for the severe lack of updates? I've been working as a semi-professional web designer
for a new company, PocketPyro Inc., makers of an MP3
player/flash memory add-on for the Palm III. Check it out and see where all my timehas been spent!

Check out the Batman Beyond DVD! It has six episodes, including Rebirth 1 & 2, Golem,
The Winning Edge, Dead Man's Hand, and Meltdown. And it's only a few dollars more
then the videos. Buy it on Amazon and help support this site.
Be sure to get to Burger King to pick up the Batman Beyond toys. Especially Inque.

After a long news break . . .
A little last minute, but go to

The new videos have been spotted at Toys R Us. You can also purchase them on
Amazon. The titles are Disappering Inque,
Tech Wars, and
School Dayz.
The Batman Beyond movie, "Return Of The Joker" is scheduled for a Nov. 7th, 2000 release. More info
as it develops.

Finally got the Batman Beyond soundtrack. My only negetive comment is its
length, about 33 min. The music absolutly rocks! Play it loud!

Early reports seem to agree . . . the new Blight figure is terrible. For some
reason, he is naked. Well, there are always customs.
By now, most people have heard about the release of the Batman Beyond Sountrack on August
31.
If you hadn't, you have now :-)
The season premire of Batman Beyond will be entitled "Splicers" The latest trend at
Hamilton High is for teens to splice animal genes to their own . . . with predictably
catastrophic results. Rumor is a new villian will appear. A futuristic Catwoman perhaps?
Another Man-Bat? Or perhaps it will be more along the lines of a mad scientist, like Emile
Dorian, from "Tyger, Tyger".
Another episode called "Twice Burned" will feature the return of Ten and the rest of the
Royal Flush Gang.

- Look for the season premiere of BATMAN BEYOND to be on either Sept. 18th or
25th. Curare, Spellbinder, Shriek, the Jokerz, and the Royal Flush Gang are among
the villains which will re-appear. The return of both Blight and Inque have
been put on hold. There is no plan to revisit any of the present day
Bat-villains at this point, either. On the hero front, more details on the past of
Batman and Batgirl will be
revealed. AND Superman will show up. Someone else is also going to learn the
secrets of the Batcave...but who?
- BATMAN BEYOND joins the 10th Anniversary celebration of SPORTS ILLUSTRATED
FOR KIDS as a sponsor for youth's magazine interactive road sports show. The
show will appear in twenty cities across the country with BATMAN BEYOND
making special appearances in Detroit, Chicago, Pittsburg, Boston, Seattle,
and the New York/New Jersy area.

The release date of the free comic seems to have changed back to its original date,
Wed. May 12. Sigh. Another week. Oh well.

I found pictures from Toy Fair of Batman Beyond Prototype figures. Unfortunately,
they are all Batman varients. They include the Batman/Ace two-pack, and the new Batmobile.
The pictures are on the Action Figure page in the products section.
The pictures were, um, "borrowed" from Raving Toy Maniac.

- Apparently the WB is saying that there has been no official announcement
of production of a BATMAN BEYOND direct-to-video movie.
- BATMAN BEYOND: THE MOVIE, the complilation of REBIRTH
(parts 1 & 2), will be released May 18th, with a rating of PG. Why PG?
Violence, and an 'intense situation'. (Most likely how the death of Terry's
father is revealed, and how Terry reacts) The movie is also 48 minutes long.
- On May 5th, DC Comics will be releasing a free
BATMAN BEYOND comic. This comic will be shipped out to comic stores all
over North America. The 32 page comic will collect the first 2 issues of BATMAN
BEYOND, but re-edited. This means some panels will be cut out and made smaller.
So basically, if you go to a comic store to pick up comics, just ask on May 5th and
you should get one. | | |
