I never liked Meirin much from the picures I'd seen, but when I got this doll as part of a lot, I absolutly adored her. The roundness of her face makes her look odd from certain angles, but she is really quite adorable. I think this hairstyle especially suits her, very cute. She is wearing one of the most mixed-up outfits of any doll in my collection (and one of my favorites): video game t-shirt from a keychain, My Scene Barbie skirt, Takara socks/legwarmers, and Mary Kate & Ashley shoes.  |

Meirin was released in 1988 as part of the second generation Jenny club, and her head mold was "lost" for a number of years before they rereleased her using Old Flora's head mold. She is one of the most distinctive looking of Jenny's friends, and very sweet, especially in person. |
